Preschool Teacher — Full Time
We are seeking a creative, energetic, and dependable Preschool Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting young children’s growth and development. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a play-based environment, collaborates well with others, and is motivated to continue growing both professionally and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum
- Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Supervise children in the classroom and on the playground, ensuring safety at all times
- Observe and assess children’s progress and respond to individual and group needs
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director and teaching team regarding student development and classroom needs
- Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about children’s progress and experiences
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to maintain program consistency and quality
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Preschool Teacher (preferred)
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood best practices
- Experience with play-based learning environments
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor’s degree in Child Development or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 12 ECE units required
- At least 2 years of preschool teaching experience preferred
